If you want to sign up to Apple as an organization, there are a number of requirements and additional steps compared to an individual account. The most important one is the D-U-N-S number.

If you have a sole proprietorship / single person businesses you must register as an individual user.


If you’re enrolling your organization, you’ll need an Apple ID with two-factor authentication turned on.

You also need to:

  • Have a business that is a legal entity able to enter contracts with Apple.

  • Have the legal autorhity to bind your organization to legal agreements.

  • Have a publicly accessible website with a domain name associated with your organization.

  • Have a D-U-N-S Number
