Apple ID

Overview

If you already own at least one Apple product, most likely you already have an apple ID.

If you don’t have an Apple ID, you can get one here: https://appleid.apple.com/account

It is generally a good idea to not use a personal account for development, but instead have a dedicated account for this purpose.

Get an Apple ID

To sign up for an Apple ID account:

The signup process is basically just filling out a number of forms, and accepting the terms and conditions.

  1. Fill in the required information in the form

  2. Click Continue

  1. Check your email for your verification code

  2. Enter the code in the dialog

  3. Click Continue

  1. Use the email and password you signed up with to log in

This time, we will choose the simple personalization option.

  1. Choose the 1-step personalization

  2. Click Next

  2. Click confirm

You now are signed in to your new Apple Account.
