Overview

To publish an app on the Google Play Store, it must be configured to meet Google’s specific requirements for Android devices.

This includes adhering to Play Store guidelines, ensuring compatibility with various Android versions, and meeting performance and security standards for distribution.

Note: Before you get started with configuring your app for iOS platform, you have to have your Firebase Account configured. Learn how to configure your Firebase account.

Configuring an app for Google Play

Nagivate to Publish > Configuration

Click on Play Store under Platform Setup

Click on Assign

Add a Package name and a Certificate Password

Package Name: Identifies your Android App on the Play Store.

Auto-Generated Certificate Password: Used to secure the certificate, please make a note of what you enter

Click on Configure and now it’s ready to be distributed.
